Poisonous and Deleterious Substance Control Act

The purpose of this Act is to control poisonous and deleterious substances properly in view of health and sanitation.

  • The term "poisonous substance" means the substance listed in Appended Table 1 and not includes pharmaceutical products and quasi pharmaceutical products.
  • The term "deleterious substance" means the substance listed in Appended Table 2 and not includes pharmaceutical products and quasi pharmaceutical products.
  • The term "specific poisonous substance" means poisonous substance and listed in Appended Table 3.

*Registration of Importer is required to import above cargoes

High Pressure Gas Safety Act

The purpose of this Act is to regulate the production, storage, sale, transportation and other matters related to the handling of high pressure gases, their consumption as well as the manufacture and handling of their containers.

At a temperature of 35 degree Celsius

  • Compressed gas, the pressure of which is not less than 1 Mpa (megapascal)
    (Excepting Acetylene gas)
  • Liquefied gas, the pressure of which is not less than 0.2Mpa

*Package inspection by local authority is required for import
